Earthquakes and Volcanoes

April 21, 2010

A friend of mine asked me if I thought that all the recent earthquakes and the volcano in Iceland were signs of the END.  I suppose they may result in some sort of global catastrophe but I do believe that they are a sign from Someone that we should start preparing to escape on the Mother Ship.

points out that the number of earthquakes hasn’t actually increased; they just hitting more populated regions and often places where there are a lot of buildings not designed to be shaken.  So I’m afraid that this is a false alarm, but keep letting me know of any new and interesting predictions!

For anyone in the DC area, I’ll be at the Malice Domestic conference from the 29th to May 2.  I’ll be talking about my mysteries but will put in a good word for the apocalypse, too.

The Real History of the End of the World, Sharan Newman,

Sharan Newman, Berkley Book

OK, the world probably won’t end on Tuesday.  I’d rather it didn’t since I’m interested in what people think of my take on the subject.  I cover theories and predictions from Gilgamesh, through the Chinese, Hindus, Maya and others as well as the three related scenarios in Judaism, Christianity and Islam.  I also discuss the hoopla around the year 2012.  Let me know your feelings on the matter.
